Privacy notice

Who we are

elektryk.uk is a trading name of Spyder Work Ltd, which is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect and why

When you email us or send an enquiry, we receive your name, contact details, address or postcode and details of the job. We use them to reply, quote, book and carry out the work, issue certificates and invoices, and remind you when an inspection is next due. Our lawful bases are taking steps to enter a contract with you, our legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Certificates and QR labels

EICR certificates can be viewed by scanning the QR label on the consumer unit. The link is long and random, and the page is hidden from search engines. Ask us and we will remove a certificate from online viewing.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Job records, certificates and invoices are kept for as long as the law and the installation require.

Who we share it with

Only with those who help us run the business, such as our email and hosting providers and our accountant, and with your letting agent when you ask us to. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
